Al-Irshaad Correspondence Course Syllabus

All praise is to Allaah and Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon the Messenger (SAW), his family and his Noble Companions. To proceed:

After having completed three batches under this course successfully, we found the need for having this material revised. The new revised edition includes a better flow of the content for easy reading and understanding, a more authentic and researched content from leading scholars, simple and comprehensive language for the readers and the arrangement of topics to suit various levels of the course. We have also improved the overall presentation of the material with detailed content, reference books for further study and also a special section of scholarly advice to the students of knowledge. Along with this material, we are also providing the complete road map for the current level in terms of schedules and we urge the students to spend quality time in reading the material, understanding the concepts, memorise those which needs memorisation, attend the contact class for clarifying doubts and get in depth knowledge on the subject – all for the only purpose of pleasing Allaah, the Most High.

This book contains the material for the first level of the course. The subjects dealt with in this level are ’Aqeedah, Qur'aan, Hadeeth, Fiqh, Seerah and Adab & Akhlaaq. The Material was mainly taken from (1) The ’Aqeedah of Tawheed by Shaikh Saaleh al Fawzaan, (2) An Introduction to the Sciences of Qur’aan by Ahmed Von Denffer, (3) Usool al Hadeeth by Dr. Bilal Philips, (4) A Guide to Salaat (Prayer) by Mohammed Abdul Kareem Saqib, (5) When the Moon Split by Safiur Rahman Mubarakpooree & (6) Riyaad-us-Saaliheen & Fortress of a Muslim.

We pray to Allaah to make this course benefit the readers to get closer to Allaah, understand our Religion and put them in practice. We also pray to Allaah to reward all those who are associated with this course with the best this world and the hereafter.
